Today, September 9, our school hosted a dynamic and transformative workshop organized by the GTO (German Toilet Organization). A total of 25 students, serving as our UNESCO Ambassadors (Unescobotschafter), took part to debate fundamental human rights and sustainability.
The day kicked off with an engaging reflection: "What comes to mind when you think of a toilet?" From there, the students connected access to clean water and sanitation (SDG 6) with climate action (SDG 13). Working in teams, they analyzed the impact of climate change, human-driven water pollution, and the specific case of Somaliland, proposing creative and highly knowledgeable solutions to improve hygiene and health.
It was an intense day of exchange, reflection, and creativity. This great work will continue very soon: on November 18, 2026, our ambassadors will proudly represent the school at the KLO Kongress, where they will dive even deeper into the topic.
