Our Library

The library started off in one classroom with a handful of volunteer parents. Book stocks totalled circa 1500. We now have two bilingual libraries, one at Pfalzburger Str. 30 (secondary and upper school), and one at Pfalzburger Str. 23 (primary), which are home to circa 100,000 books and periodicals. We also have Spanish and French texts. A library is in the process of being developed at the Babelsberger Str. campus. What services our libraries provide:

  • Circa 100,000 books in paper format, numerous periodicals and other media items
  • Access to laptops and/or desktop computers within the libraries
  • A quiet area to study/research and complete class/homework projects
  • Central reservation point for computer suites

The materials found in our libraries are funded via the Educational Resources Fund.

IB Diploma/Abitur

One of the requirements for IB accreditation (International Baccalaureate) is the existence of a professionally managed library, a condition we have met with bravura due to the ongoing efforts of our committed library team.
