21 October 2011: Last week, Primary Student Council Members had the unique opportunity to introduce the Nelson Mandela School to members of the German Marshall Fund. Students were able to also introduce themselves, their backgrounds and thoughts for the future and engaged in a lively discussion with Fund Fellows as they toured the school.

The German Marshall Fund is a nonpartisan American public policy and grant making institution. It is about cooperation and understanding between Europe and the United States of America. Through this institution a new generation of European leaders is introduced to America`s institutions and people and vice versa. The program has attracted pro active persons from all sectors; politics, media, business and non governmental organizations. The members work on transatlantic issues and examine ways to address a number of global policy challenges.
