On Monday the 31th of October the fifth and sixth graders had a Halloween Party in the Nelson Mandela School. Children ran around yelling in elaborate costumes. The kitchen was full with treats and the educaters were busily involved to help with the food and decorations. Me? Well I was enjoying myself and danced crazily in the disco. I saw so many scary monsters. The party was great but there wheres so many people. It was just crowded. I still enjoyed my first Halloween Party at the Nelson Mandela School.

Halloween neared and I was excited to get to see what festivities were offered. I was starstruck! The party was way over my expactations or the ones at my previous schools. There was a room containing two long tables loaded with mouthwatering food. Every student from the 6th grade contributed something to the buffet and it was no surprise that there were mostly sweets! Almost everyone was dressed in some sort of costume, most included false blood. Next there was a computer room in which you could watch „Caroline“, a really creepy movie. I was more interested in the disco! When I entered the lights were off and the windows were covered with black paper, to keep the room as dark as possible. The only light came from the bright and colourful disco ball rays that moved across the misty room.  The fog machines cooled the room down while adding a deep effect tot he disco. You sort of expected a vampire to jump out at you any minute thoughout the disco. The music was also very modern, exactly what kids in our generation enjoy! Overall I had an amazing time an I think I can speak for multiple people when I say that!
