“Be the change that you want to see in the world.” (Mahatma Gandhi)

On Saturday, 16th of January, we had another global UMUGANDA day in P30 from 1pm to 5pm. As you all know the purpose behind UMUGANDA is to gather as a community in order to clean up and tidy the surroundings of daily (school) life. The main goal of the day in P30 was to redecorate certain parts of the school, such as the bathrooms or the hallways in the old building.

The main trigger for this decision came from a few students, who were complaining about the situation in the school bathrooms and the huge vandalism going on. We wanted to create a friendlier atmosphere and encourage student to use their creative potential in a way, which isn't harmful to anyone.

At the end of the day, so many new, inspiring, hilarious and creative things were created and all those, who had joined in, realized that it is an amazing experience to work together and achieve an outcome.

A special thanks goes to all those, who came on the 16th of January to help make our school a better place.

Everyone was happy, relaxed and we had a good time. I can't wait for the next date!
