Berlin School Holiday Calendar (in German)Notice the fine distinction between Letzter Unterrichtstag (last day of school) and Ferienbeginn (first day of the holidays). Sometime, there's a day in between on which there's no school (Unterrichtsfreier Tag), but which doesn't count as part of the holidays for some obscure reason. However, for the purposes of parents, it's the same as holidays.
